Hi friends! We could use some help putting the sanctuary back together (we had to move a lot of things in preparation for the hurricane) and could also use some help moving mulch to help with the muddy areas 🐽

About the Event
Looking for volunteers that feel good about breaking a sweat and doing some manual labor! We will be moving things back to how they were pre-hurricane and could use some help. We also need help moving mulch to muddy areas (we are anticipating lots of rain during the hurricane).
Because of the pandemic, this volunteer day is limited in participants. Please register if you plan on coming! Wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind sweating in :) Bring a full water bottle (it can get hot!), and depending on the weather we recommend sunscreen and/or a rain jacket. Please bring a face mask to wear as you enter the sanctuary (it shouldn't be needed throughout the volunteer day, because we are outdoors and will have ample room to be spaced far apart, but during the tour, briefings, etc. we may ask that you put it on).
Of course there will be time to meet and cuddle with the animal residents as well! Thank you so much for choosing to spend your morning with us. Everything at the sanctuary has been builty by volunteers and we simply could not do this work without you.
