Sunday 1/11 Public Volunteer Day! 9 am - 12 pm

Looking for volunteers that feel good about breaking a sweat and doing some manual labor! The day will include some work in landscaping/habitat care and a tour of the sanctuary to meet the residents.

To help us better plan and ensure committed volunteers, we’re charging $5 per ticket for this event. We were having a lot of people sign up and not show up, this takes a spot from another person. If you attend Volunteer Day, we can refund your ticket if you wish, or you’re welcome to donate it to support the sanctuary.

In the past, free sign-ups often led to no-shows, even though a lot of time and effort goes into organizing these days. Your ticket helps us hold space for those who truly plan to be there. Mahalo for understanding and for supporting our mission!
