About the Event
Open to the public! All ages welcome!
Come visit Charlotte, Haku, Eleanor, Francis & Fern, Hei-Hei & Debbie and the wild rooster & chicken gang, here at the sanctuary!
We will be leading two organized tours at the sanctuary; one at 3:30 PM, and one at 5:30 PM. This is the 3:30PM tour time. Tours will be donation-based, (a sliding scale of $5-10/per person is suggested). None of our directors or volunteers are paid, and all of the donations go directly towards the care of the animals.
Tours will include education about the background of the sanctuary, and each individual animal's story. There will be a chance to interact with and meet all of the animals. For the animals who love their photos to be taken (yes Haku, we are looking at you...) there will be plenty of photo ops as well. We are working very hard to create an educational, fun, and interactive tour the whole family will enjoy. We unfortunately are no longer able to accommodate individual visits to the sanctuary due to the high volume of interest, so these once-a-month visitor days are the best way to visit us.
Please RSVP for each child you will be bringing, as we have a maximum amount of visitors we will allow in each tour (smaller tours = better experience for all!).
Thank you so much for supporting your local sanctuary! Aloha!
