Volunteer Day on March 21st
Time & Location
Mar 21, 2020, 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Aloha Animal Sanctuary, 47-119 Pulama Rd, Kaneohe, Honolulu, Hawaii 96744, USA
About the Event
Please arrive promptly at 8:30 AM so we can go over safety together. Wear closed-toe shoes, and bring a hat/sunglasses for sun protection. Bring a raincoat as well, plenty of drinking water, and plant-based snacks. If you have work gloves, bring them, but otherwise we have some at the sanctuary.
We are going to be picking up trash in the pasture area. There is so much trash (the previous property owner allowed people to dump trash here), so it will definitel take the entire 3 hours! Children are welcome, but just like beach clean-ups, be mindful that some of the trash is made up of pieces of glass and rusty metal. Please bring your children gloves if you have them and dress them in pants and closed-toe shoes. We will also be working on a couple of other side projects as well, depending on what needs to be done this day.
Just a reminder, please leave your companion animals at home. This is to protect our animals at the sanctuary.Mahalo, and see you there!
