It's our first volunteer day of the year! The sanctuary is a muddy mess right now and we could use your help on our latest mud-proofing project for the pigs. Please come ready to sweat! 🤙🏾 Please wear rain boots if you have them; it is extremely muddy!

About the Event
Looking for volunteers that feel good about breaking a sweat and doing some manual labor! We will start with a mini-tour of the sanctuary to meet some of our residents, then we will dive in to the break-a-sweat work with carrying heavy materials and other very important tasks. Please bring work/garden gloves if you have them.
Because of the pandemic, this volunteer day is limited in participants. You must register if you plan on coming. Please wear closed-toed shoes (RAIN BOOTS are ideal right now) and clothes that you don't mind sweating in and getting muddy. Bring a full water bottle (it can get hot!), and depending on the weather we recommend sunscreen and/or a rain jacket. If you have work gloves, please bring.
Please bring a face mask; it shouldn't be needed throughout the volunteer day (because we are outdoors and will have ample room to be spaced far apart), but during the tour, briefings, etc. we will ask that you put it on.
