Volunteer Day! Saturday 8/28, 9am

Looking for volunteers that feel good about breaking a sweat and doing some manual labor! We will be painting our new shipping container office, building new compost piles, planting, and doing other landscaping tasks. This volunteer day is not keiki friendly. Afterward, we will give you a mini-tour of the sanctuary to meet some of our residents! 

Because of the pandemic, this volunteer day is limited in participants. You must register if you plan on coming. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind sweating in :) Bring a full water bottle (it can get hot!), and depending on the weather we recommend sunscreen and/or a rain jacket. Please bring a face mask; it shouldn't be needed throughout the volunteer day (because we are outdoors and will have ample room to be spaced far apart), but during the tour, briefings, etc. we will ask that you put it on.
