Yoga at the Sanctuary! (Wed 7/8)

Join us for goat yoga with Waipuna, Pili, Elsa, and Anna, at the sanctuary! This class will be a 30 min beginner's yoga class in our special goat yoga enclosure. We added an extra fenced area to the goat's current area, so they have constant access to their home, food, and water, and can also freely choose to come and participate in yoga with us if they would like. There are no guarantees of course that they will want to participate, or interact with us. That being said, based on encounters in the past... they all seem to really enjoy goat yoga and visitors. Please note that will not use food to entice the goats to join us, and we will not force them to come out and play. The goats get to choose what they want to do on their own. We are first and foremost a sanctuary for the animals. Thank you so much for understanding that sanctuary goat yoga is special, and prioritizes the animals above the experience for the guests. 

The class will be taught by Summer, from Yoga under the Palms! She has graciously offered to teach for free so that all proceeds can go back to the sanctuary and towards the care of the animals. Children are welcome but must be at least 8 years old. Each $20 ticket comes with one brand new and limited edition goat sticker, made by our volunteer Mackenna Cady! After the yoga class you are welcome to stay until 6:30 to socialize with the goats and participate in a short walk-through of the Sanctuary to see and meet our other residents. This will be an abbreviated sanctuary tour, if you want to get the full sanctuary tour experience make sure to sign up for a private visitor tour (we will be launching these again soon for locals!). 

We are so excited to slowly welcome friends to the sanctuary while maintaining social distancing. We are only going to allow 10 participants and will have everyone space themselves out at least 6 ft in the outdoor yoga area. Masks are required on entry to the sanctuary, and on exit, but are not required during yoga class due to the social distancing measures being taken. However, as a gentle reminder, any exposure to public gatherings places you at some type of risk, so if you live with someone who is immunocompromised or elderly, please take this into consideration when you decide whether to participate. If you or anyone in your household develops symptoms like fever, cough, etc. please notify us ASAP and we will refund your ticket 100% and reserve your space in a class later, when you are feeling better.

**Please note that classes are subject to last-minute cancellations due to weather, as we do not have adequate protection from the rain. In the event of poor weather, you would receive a full refund, or we would add you to the next available class, depending on your preference.**
