Buster was once a member of our wild chicken flock at the Sanctuary. A gentle soul, he struggled to find his place in the flock and was lovingly rehabilitated by our volunteers several times. Eventually, it became clear that Buster needed a home of his own. The Sanctuary searched for his forever home, but sadly, we weren’t able to find a home for him.
At the same time, our beloved girl Puff was in need of some companionship. She is also a gentle soul and would sometimes get picked on by other, more dominant, chickens. These two sweet chickens found each other. Together, Buster and Puff get to spend their days side by side, safe and loved, enjoying the peaceful companionship they both deserve.
Buster and Puff have now found a home, a sanctuary, in each other. We are so happy for them and their flourishing relationship.
