Goober is blind in both eyes. He came from a family who purchased a bunch of chicks from a hatchery. Goober was in bad shape and had a bad upper respiratory infection. Goober is fitting in very well at the sanctuary with his special needs rooster friends Gary and Louie. We have caught them cuddling in their home together. Goober requires assistance with finding his food and water but he eats independently. Otherwise, he gets around okay and doesn’t have any other issues.
