Moe was once a member of our wild chicken flock at the Sanctuary. He was lovingly rehabilitated by our dedicated volunteer team after suffering an eye injury. Although he made a full recovery, he unfortunately lost vision in one eye and could not safely return to the wild flock.
Amy, Moe's companion, is also his mother. She was one of the original wild chickens at the Sanctuary and raised her babies right here on the sanctuary grounds. We are so grateful that Amy and Moe are able to spend their days together, continuing to share their beautiful bond.

At Aloha Animal Sanctuary, we run completely off volunteers and donations like yours. There are no paid positions here. All donations go towards caring for the animals.
