Steve was found as an orphaned baby goat. We have many wild goats here on O‘ahu who are hunted for their meat. We don’t know what Steve went through before he came to us, we just know he was found by a loving auntie on the west side who saved his life. When Steve was initially brought to the Sanctuary, he was thin, suffering pneumonia, and infested with lice. He was nursed to health by a Sanctuary volunteer who fostered him, dedicating hours of their time to give him snuggles, milk, and care. He is now as healthy and happy as can be. Steve is a playful, fun-loving goat. He makes friends everywhere he goes!
