Sunny is our baby boy duck, born on June 1, 2025, to mama Brandi at the Sanctuary. At the Sanctuary, we do not support the breeding of animals and meticulously collect eggs from our residents to help prevent this from happening. However, Brandi hid one egg exceptionally well, and we were delighted by Sunny’s surprise arrival!

Despite being unexpected, he's been a total joy and a wonderful addition to our family! Sunny loves to hang out with all of the lady ducks, often following them around and imitating their behaviors. Sunny has also grown very fond of bananas and mealworms as his mid-day snack! We are grateful that Sunny can spend the rest of his life with his mama, Brandi, as the two share a beautiful bond.
